Wagner Farm Arboretum’s Festival of Nature is a wonderful day out for the entire family!
Come and watch hawks, eagles, owls, falcons and vultures from the Raptor Project as they soar over our beautiful Children’s garden performing three spectacular free-flight shows at our Festival of Nature on Saturday, July 15. When the birds are not performing their breathtaking shows you can visit the Raptor Project stand for a close up view of these amazing feathered predators.
Take a stroll through our gorgeous walk-through butterfly exhibit and feed the butterflies. Complete with plants and seating the butterfly exhibit is a tranquil spot to spend time marveling at these beautiful flying insects.
Our ever popular petting zoo is back with donkeys, alpacas, rabbits, chickens, goats and a baby cow. Children will love petting all the animals and feeding them a treat or two! Looking for some less cuddly animals? Rizzo’s Reptiles will be there with their educational demonstration featuring alligators, hedgehogs, snakes and insects. Interested in finding out more about pollinators? Our beekeepers will be there with their live-bee exhibit, a honey extraction demonstration and lots of information about bees and their importance to our food supply. Don’t forget to stop by and visit with Tecomah the timber wolf, at the Wolf Visions exhibit, and learn how they are helping wolves in their natural habitat.
Ever wondered where soil comes from? Jersey Worms will be there to show you how worms perform this important task. At our geology display you can find out lots of cool things about rocks and gems.
At Wagner Farm we grow 10,000 lbs of organic produce for local food banks each year – our gardeners will be on hand to show you how.
Your entry ticket covers all of the above, plus kids games and inflatables.
