History of The Gardeners of Wagner Farm Arboretum
The Gardeners of Watchung Hills became a partner to Wagner Farms Arboretum in 2013. The group of experienced gardeners, long-time friends, and local residents who formed the garden club is now called “The Gardeners of Wagner Farm Arboretum”.
The Club maintains sections of the Children’s Garden. In 2013 members designed and constructed a sensory garden at the Arboretum: a raised bed in shape of 5 flower petals. In the spring of 2014 the beds were planted with host plants that represent the five senses. Come visit the “Children’s Garden”, open daily during daylight hours.
Creative members pitched in at Brite Nites in October 2013 to decorate the Pumpkin Path Entry display with pumpkins, mums, lights and spooky figures that complemented the Sponsor display.
